Progress League helps progressive candidates

and campaigns win at the ballot box.

We've been working for decades to help elect progressive leaders and earn voter support for ballot initiatives to improve the quality of life in Texas communities. We've been especially active in our hometown of Austin, where we've advised dozens of successful candidates and campaigns. Here are just a few of our badass clients:

Progress League is proud to be working with Austin Mayor Kirk Watson's 2024 re-election campaign. Mayor Watson is running to continue delivering more and better results from City Hall, including addressing affordability, homelessness, public safety, traffic and more. He has also pledged to end Austin's ownership in the Fayette coal plant.

We're fighting to protect our environment and support the transition from climate-killing fossil fuels.

The science is clear.  Climate change is the defining environmental challenge of our lives.  If we fail to take real action now to transition away from fossil fuels, we face a cascade of devastating global impacts.

But here in Texas, the oil and gas industry is instead doubling down, pursuing a massive infrastructure expansion that not only puts the future of our planet in peril, but also jeopardizes the health and safety of communities forced to live alongside dirty, dangerous facilities. That's why we're proud to work with groups who are pushing back on projects that threaten our climate and communities, and working to support change in the energy industry that offers hope for a different, better future:

No desal in the Corpus Christi Bay!

In partnership with our friends and clients at Texas Campaign for the Environment, Progress League is working to help support frontline communities in Nueces County who are organizing to stop the proposed construction of massive desalination plants in the Corpus Christi Bay. Wastewater from the "Desal Disasternot only threatens fishing and recreation in the bay, but local residents are also on the hook for hundreds of millions in construction costs for facilities designed to serve heavy industry, NOT the community.

Every morning we cook up breakfast and then start cooking up creative new ways to help our clients get their message out. We're obsessed with delivering work that ... works. Here's some of it:
